kerravonsen: Dr. Brennan: "I find intelligence soothing" (Brennan)
Yes, I haven't been doing episode reviews of my viewing of Season 4 of Bones. Mea culpa. However, I have been enjoying it.

I have to say that "The Double Death of the Dearly Departed" has got to be the funniest episode of a murder-mystery show EVER. Not just the situation, or the funny things that keep happening, but also the way it keeps on escalating because those peeps simply CANNOT keep secrets from each other, and they know each other well enough to spot when something is off. And then they all immediately collude in the name of justice.

Of course, the most surreal episode has to be the last one, "The End in the Beginning". That one was amazing. It makes me smile thinking about it.

More Bones and crocheting while watching. Obviously I'm not commenting on every episode. Hey, I don't have to if I don't want to. But this episode, I have one thing to say:

I've been watching the end of Season 3 of Bones while doing crochet.
Yes, I haven't been commenting on Bones for many many episodes now, but I had to comment on this one.

One word: Whoa!

Oh my. What a tangled web.

AKA Bones meets the Blair Witch Project.

A bit ho-hum, really, but some good character bits.

I'm taking a bit of a break from everything else, and watching some Bones.

Awesome awesome episode!

Dramatic opening, tight plot, so many good character moments, not just between the major characters, but also with guest characters.

More Bones. Not a gross one this time. Instead, we got politics.

More Bones. Looks like they're getting more creative with their titles.
Okay, this crime was rather bizarre. And grosser than usual.

kerravonsen: Elizabeth holding her hands over her ears: "Nooo! Too much information!" (too-much-info)
More Bones. We seem to have solved the confrontation with the boss-lady now. But then this was concentrating more on Brennan and Booth.

More Bones! More confrontation!

So what do you think?

And I've made another Bones icon!

Second episode of the season, and more confrontation between Brennan and the boss-lady.

Should I bother continuing with these Bones episode posts?
kerravonsen: Dr. Brennan: "I don't know what that means" (Brennan-dunno)
Lookit my first Bones icon! I made it today.

Here we have the first episode of Season 2, and it turns out that what I thought was a cliffhanger isn't a cliffhanger after all, but a continuing mystery. Okay.
And we have a new season, with new personnel.

Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness!
Interesting how, for the first time, the episode title has a double meaning.

kerravonsen: Ninth Doctor, silhuette of autumn leaf: "All things die." (all-things-die)
You know what I like about this series? It's a drama, not just a murder-mystery. There's character development, and relationships, and it isn't all office romances either. Though it's interesting with Hodgkins and Angela. But I liked the Booth-Brennan interaction even better. Especially at the end. Poor Booth.
spoilery ramblings, though nobody seems to care )
I need a Bones icon. Oh well.
kerravonsen: Ninth Doctor, silhuette of autumn leaf: "All things die." (all-things-die)
Okay, they are being really creative in stretching the way that bones can be related to things more dynamic than just tracking down murderers. Well, technically it was murder this time too, but rather indirectly.

kerravonsen: Susan aiming bow and arrows: "Sharp Mind" (sharp-mind)
Well, this one was very exciting. Violent death! Amnesia!

kerravonsen: Sam Carter, red desert, moon: Another day, Another planet (another-planet)
Watched this one last night. Not much to say about this one, except that I loved the way Brennan and Angela were being best friends to each other. I love that friendship, because it's so obvious that they care about each other, yet they are so different from each other. Also, I loved the whole small-town vibe, and that things weren't always the way that Our Heroes assumed them to be at first.
kerravonsen: cartoon Ood: "would you like a piece of my mind?" (piece-of-my-mind)
More Bones. This time the mysteries were less forensic and more psychological.

More Bones.
Looks like we have some developments.

kerravonsen: What is essential is invisible to the eye (essential-invisible)
More bones, bones, bones.
Why does this one feel sadder than usual? I mean, it's a murder, as usual. So...? It's not as if there weren't any quirky/funny bits, because there were. Maybe because the ending was sadder, in a bittersweet way, sort of.
