Bones 2x06: The Girl in Suite 2103
Jun. 10th, 2009 07:11 pmMore Bones. Not a gross one this time. Instead, we got politics.
It is rather ironic that the person who was responsible for the explosion... was one of the victims of the explosion, and that they didn't know that there would be an explosion. But I must admit, I wasn't expecting the murderer to be who it was.
I enjoyed the byplay between Hodgkins and Angela.
Here we are shown again that Dr. Cam is more interested in getting a conviction than telling the truth. The fact that she doesn't see any difference between distorting the evidence and lying to criminals... I really get how Dr. Brennan isn't sure whether she can trust Dr. Cam any more. It isn't just that Dr. Cam was willing to do it, it was that she didn't see anything wrong with it. But making the evidence lie... that's a violation of what Brennan feels is a sacred trust: to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth; to speak for the victims because they cannot speak for themselves.
I expect there will be more conflicts in the future.
