More Bones! More confrontation!
Y'know, boss-lady, you do not solve problems by threatening to fire people. Or by firing people. But I'm glad they worked something out by the end. And go Booth for saying that "I'm with Bones all the way"; but also for facilitating the reconciliation. Intriguing compromise Brennan and Dr. Cam came to: three "get out of jail free cards" a week. I wonder if we'll see them in action.
Mind you, I don't think Brennan's control-freak-ness necessarily comes from being a foster kid; it could (also) come from a brilliant person learning the life-lesson that "if you want something done right, do it yourself".
I guess they had to bring the boss-lady in as a character because initially the confrontation-between-people-on-the-same-side was between Brennan and Booth, but they had come such a long way in mutual understanding and support over the course of the first season that that was no longer possible.
As for the case itself, I knew the girl hadn't done as soon as she got the confession wrong, and my next thought was "Who is she protecting?" and her kid brother was the obvious answer to that.
So what do you think?
