Bones 2x01: The Titan on the Tracks
Jun. 8th, 2009 11:04 pmLookit my first Bones icon! I made it today.
Here we have the first episode of Season 2, and it turns out that what I thought was a cliffhanger isn't a cliffhanger after all, but a continuing mystery. Okay.
And we have a new season, with new personnel.
So Dr. Goodman is gone. That's a pity, I liked him. I wonder why they decided to do that? Maybe they felt that there would be more drama in having Brennan's immediate boss be someone who was closer to the action. It certainly shook things up a bit; a bit more confrontational.
I'm not sure if I'm going to like the new boss-lady or not. Coming down like a ton of bricks on Zack and Hodgkins puts her in my bad books, because it was completely uncalled for, IMHO. On the other hand, standing up for the team in front of others goes on the plus side of the ledger. Booth was right; she doesn't know how to herd cats.
I liked how Booth was so very much Brennan's friend here, supporting her (even while disagreeing with her). It's fun watching them disagree; this time disagreeing about drugs and about the point of visiting gravestones. She's so very much the Rational Humanist.
