I saw Tintin a few days ago (Thursday, or was it Wednesday?). I haven't posted about it because it was so good I couldn't really figure out where to start. I still can't figure out where to start, but I figure that I'd better state for the record that, yes, I have seen it, and yes, I liked it a whole lot. It made me want to go and re-read "The Secret of the Unicorn" because it was so faithful to the book. I have to admit I was surprised when Captain Haddock had a Scottish accent, but it suited him. And Bianca Castafiore, oh, she spoke like she was singing; that was better than I could have imagined.
For the tech-heads, yes, the animation was excellent. There were moments that I almost forgot it wasn't live-action.
