Question for Stargate fans
Nov. 12th, 2004 10:33 am"Entropic Cascade Failure" is the Stargate technobabble for what happens (at least in the Stargate "universe") to the doppleganger from a parallel universe if their alternate is still alive in the universe to which they have just travelled. My question is, does it make any difference to the rate of the "failure" if the alternate is not in close proximity with the doppleganger? The example we have with the two Sam Carters, they were working closely together. What if the alternate were on another planet? Would the degeneration be greatly slowed?
Yes, plot bunny. Bad, bad bunny, there are three stories ahead of you in the queue! But I had to ask...
