Okay, it looks like nobody wants to be on the twitter filter. Fine, I'll make them all private. I still want to post so that I have a record in my main blog-place of what I've been twitting.

I understand wanting a record in your regular place, though. I've occasionally thought, when I'm not getting replies, about making my LJ posts private, but still having a record. At which point I think that if I'm going to do that, I might as well go back to a longhand diary. As it turns out right now, I'm just not posting all that much anyway.
