Ah, I'm so tired... mentally exhausted, maybe. Thinking of the endless list of things to do that I keep on adding more to. I feel like the Red Queen.

For example... I wanted to write a daily-bible-reading script. But I wanted to do it properly -- which sidetracked me to (a) investigating Perl module skeleton creators, writing a subclass module for one, discovering another, better one, and writing a plugin module for it and (b) writing a "proper" perl module for the scrappy scripts I'd been using peacemeal to help with my perl module writing (originally inspired by the irritating task of updating the version-ids in most of the test files for txt2html). And the plugin I wrote isn't sufficient, so maybe I should write another one... and I'm no closer to writing the daily-bible-reading script which sparked all this frenzy.

You'll all be thinking I'm a P next.

(sigh)

I'm never going to finish anything at this rate!

REad a page a day and use a paper bookmark.

The more serious question is why you feel the need to create an impossible workload for yourself. There has to be some underlying reason. Are you seeing enough people socially outside work? (face to face, not on the net)

Hm. With your high N, you might not like this suggestion, but how about taking a weekend off from 'doing' and spend some time 'experiencing'? Go out and commune with nature, visit friends, lie about and listen to music, things like that - but don't plan every minute; in fact, plan to accomplish nothing, only to pay attention to everything. In other words, be S for a couple of days; it's like a mini-vacation from yourself.
