I want anyone and EVERYONE who reads this to post in here something they would like to do with me someday.

Then post this in your journal to find out what I want to do with you.

Any town in Australia is cool with me. And I will let you know. (And [livejournal.com profile] drednort 'cause I think he'd kill me if I was in country and didn't visit.)

Watch some Blake's 7 episodes with you, cause it sounds like a cool show, and your site was where I first heard about it.

Hi to you too! Yep, I LJ now, as you clearly know from your posts in my journal. *is inordinately pleased* Though why I bothered getting an LJ when I have so little online time at the moment is a mystery to me....

And what you said above it exactly what intrigues me about B7.

Write filks and sing them.

Only a few of my friends like filking, though I may have just discovered another, so I tend to enjoy the chance to write/sing.

mind you, we're going for that walk along the river first, followed by a meal in Wimborne...

I think with so much recorded music around, a lot of people just listen rather than make their own.

See if you can get any second-hand Spinners CDs or tapes. They did mostly trad.

Of course, you could always try song books as well if you can read music. do you want me to recommend any titles?

The way to learn to read music is to buy a children's recorder book. Recorders are cheap and there's some really easy starter books. I taught myself that way.

Plus, recorders don't need tuning (always a bouus) and fit easily in suitcases.

Other useful instruments are things like concertinas where you just have to push a button and remember which dot on the paper is which button.

Things like violins are just plain difficult.

I am in a strange mood, so I will say: build a snowman and then watch Iron Chef, preferably while drinking cocoa.

Nice and simple. Get together for a coffee and chat about B7.

Oh hey! I just went back and read the earlier replies to your post. I happen to be passing through Oz around April next year. No pressure, but if you'd like to meet up for coffee, it might actually be able to happen, although I understand perfectly if you'd rather not meet up with someone you only know vaguely from lj.
