Dialogue Without Plot

I thought of this in the shower this morning. Problem is, I can't think of any companion that this dialogue would fit.

"Anywhere in time and space. Anyone in history." The Doctor grinned. "What do you fancy?"

"I'd suggest Moses, but he's rather difficult to date."

"You want to date Moses?"

"You're the pilot; you'd have to date him."

"I do not want to date Moses!"

"Didn't think you would. I mean, we don't even know which Pharoh it was."

This? Is adorable. I can sorta hear Donna saying it, but then, my knowledge base of Who companions is severely limited.

I don't think it would fit Donna, for a few reasons:
1) I don't think she'd be interested in seeing Moses.
2) She wouldn't be oblivious to the double meaning of "date".

Problem #1 could possibly be solved if I could think of someone else well-known whose dates are not well-known.

Sounds to me like you need to invent a new character, then...

Speaking of Dating, which Doctor do you hear speaking, here? And depending on that, between which adventures could you slip this?

My knowledge of NewWho is severely limited, but I get the feeling that we haven't been given many gaps since RTD took over...

Nope. Not for a drabble. Not worth it. A crossover might work, maybe. Willow? She's a jew, she might be interested in Moses.

Ten, I think. The others wouldn't pick up that meaning of "date". Though maybe possibly Nine might.

And there are more gaps in New Who than there were in Five's tenure. Particularly with Ten, whom we know had companionless periods between every season except the first and second.
