I hereby poke my tongue out at mistraltoes, since (a) it's her fault I'm doing this and (b) she obviously isn't reading this.

Research has shown that most blogs die before the year is out, I expect this one is likely to be in the majority.

I expected when I started my blog that it wouldn't last a month, but two years later I'm still blogging and I've been on LJ for a year as well. If anything my LJ tends to get a bit more attention, since it's my "non-serious" forum and I can just blather about whatever, whenever.

LJ especially is addictive, because of the way Comments are structured to encourage discussion, and because of the Friendslist, which generates spin-off topics almost endlessly.
