I have looked at your stocking, and added one of the story ideas to the 'I wish I could do that justice' list, but at this point have no spare thinking to put anything there. However, if you give me ideas about the kinds of food you like/things you are and are not willing to experiment with, I am happy to have an excuse to go looking through my cookbooks for recipes. 'One pot' and 'one person' are a good starting point, as is 'not stir fry', but as I'm currently blanking on dinner for myself even though someone has done part of the thinking by buying veggies for me, I'm not getting very specific ideas.
Well, I'm not into spicy food. I'm not even sure if I have chilli in the cupboard! I don't like sweet + salty flavours together. Recipes featuring tinned tuna or minced meat would be convenient, as would things that freeze well. I hope that gives you some direction!
just to flag that I'm still thinking about this - a week of being horribly ill/recovering in the lead up the Christmas completely mucked with my list of achievable activities, and this was one that didn't make it to the top. The pile of cookbooks is still beside the bed - still hoping I can find things that interest one or both of us!
