Pastel Necklace
Sep. 1st, 2013 05:12 pmOne of the things I've been working on - and being very frustrated by - during last month's NaArMaMo (
naarmamo) has been a chainmaille necklace using glass rings. Today I finished it!

Date: 2013-09-01 10:09 am (UTC)I do wear my jewellery, and I do give most of it away. ;-) I've been making a lot more in the last couple of years, so I've been giving more away. Also, I think I wore more of my earlier stuff because I simply had less jewellery; now I have much more jewellery, I don't feel I need as much. Also, I wear t-shirts a lot nowadays, and necklaces don't really go well with t-shirts.
Some necklaces I make with specific people in mind (for example, the Nailed Cross necklace was intended for Nephew M from the start)... and sometimes that specific person can be me. There's a Ravenclaw necklace I've been designing, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep it.
Other necklaces I make just because I want to, and most of those I give away, though I tend not to be able to resist those with blue/green/purple colour schemes.

Blue/green/purple - my favourite colours too!
