Nailed Cross
Aug. 15th, 2013 06:51 pmI can has a finished necklace! This one is destined for a relative for Christmas.
Mind you, I've been staring at it so long, I'm not sure if it is good or crap.

Materials and construction:
Cross, nails + copper. Glued and then wire-wrapped.
Chainmaille:
Barbed Helm: Steel square wire (ID=7.9mm, WD=1.2mm OD=10.3mm, AR=6.58), Steel (ID=6.35mm, WD=1mm, OD=8.35mm, AR=6.35), Copper (ID=6mm, WD=1mm, OD=8mm, AR=6);
Absolve: small rings Steel (ID=3.97, WD=0.8mm) large rings Steel (ID=4.76, WD=0.8mm) and Steel square wire (ID=4.76, WD=0.8mm);
Pendant attachment - Inverted Aura: Steel square wire (ID=7.9mm, OD=10.3mm, WD=1.2mm, AR=6.58), Steel (ID=4.76mm, OD=6.76mm, WD=1mm, AR=4.76)
Symbolism... I don't think I have to explain the obvious symbolism, do I?
(Edited to point to new offsite album.)
