Which a friend of mine used to phrase as "half-arsed is better than no-arsed". (or possibly 'can't be arsed', but I think the one I gave first is right, even though it sounds odd).
Heh, there's so many different ways to take that slogan.
For me, it was born out of frustration that A Certain Manager wouldn't allow things to be done properly because they were all "No time! No time! Rush! Rush! Rush!", so that months later, after the original perpetrators had left, other people were left to tidy up the mess they left behind, and given an arbitrary deadline in which to do so. Makes me cross. Particularly since certain of us had expressed our concerns about it last year, and were told not to worry. Grrr.
There's a reason why "quick and dirty" is called quick and dirty.
It isn't perfectionism to protest that sort of thing, it's professionalism.
(grin) Oh, I do agree with Chesterton. "If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing badly." I just don't think that professional work is important enough to do badly. 8-P
