More Chainmaille!
Jun. 23rd, 2013 09:14 pmThis one is a lanyard I made for my father for his birthday. Said birthday is only four days away now, and he made the request only about a week ago, so I've been working hard to finish it.
What he requested was a lanyard to hold his medic-alert-thing, which he is supposed to wear all the time, even in the shower. The original chain it had been on had broken, and he has temporarily replaced it with the kind of cloth lanyard one can buy at a stationers. But he doesn't want to wear the cloth in the shower, so he asked for a chain to replace it, that he wouldn't have to worry about getting wet.
This is it:

Full Persian 6-in-1 chain. Thick chain, very unlikely to break. Also, no fastener, so it won't break on the fastener either. Just drop it over the head.
Links: Brass (gold, black) ID=6.6mm, OD=9mm, WD=1.2mm, AR=5.5
(edited to point to different offsite album)
