More Chainmaille!

This one is a lanyard I made for my father for his birthday. Said birthday is only four days away now, and he made the request only about a week ago, so I've been working hard to finish it.

What he requested was a lanyard to hold his medic-alert-thing, which he is supposed to wear all the time, even in the shower. The original chain it had been on had broken, and he has temporarily replaced it with the kind of cloth lanyard one can buy at a stationers. But he doesn't want to wear the cloth in the shower, so he asked for a chain to replace it, that he wouldn't have to worry about getting wet.

This is it:



Full Persian 6-in-1 chain. Thick chain, very unlikely to break. Also, no fastener, so it won't break on the fastener either. Just drop it over the head.

Looks good, and being brass, I assume it won't rust either.

Yep, no rusting. Mind you, if I'd done it in some form of iron, it would have been stainless steel. But brass is likely safer in that regard, if it's going to get soaked frequently.

Thanks. It won't rust, sure. Not so sure about tarnishing, but I'm not going to worry about that.
