Have Pliers, Will Travel
Jun. 17th, 2013 05:39 pmI made a few pieces of chainmaille over the last couple of weeks, so here they are:
The first three were done on the long weekend, while I was at Continuum, which is why they are all rubber and silver rings of one size: that was all I had with me at the con. The last one was made last weekend, for Eldest Nephew for his birthday, since I'd been invited, on Saturday, to his birthday dinner on Sunday.
Watch strap (stretchy):

(at last, I have a wearable working watch!)
Bookmark:

(my signature paperclip bookmark, this time with maille instead of macrame)
Stretchy bracelet:

(started at the con, and then pulled apart and re-done after I got back, because the weave went in the wrong direction for it to be stretchy enough)
Keychain:
Half Persian 4-in-1. I love Half Persian 4-in-1, it is so pretty! Also quite difficult to do. But now I can do it! Yay!
(edited to point to different offsite album)

Date: 2013-06-17 08:50 am (UTC)I like the watch chain best. I like with the colour shifts from side to side. The whole effect is nicely slinky like a chain should be.
I love Half-Persian-4-in-1. I've only made it once so far but it is, as you say, "nicely slinky".
