Summary: Silents in the nursery do not bode well for the future of Earth; luckily, however, there is at least one Time Lady who is willing to do what must be done. To tidy matters up.

Beautiful. This makes Mary Poppins as a Time Lord work, and still keeps her in character. Rather than being frivolous, there is depth and breadth and context. Good stuff.

Note: this has spoilers for Season Six of New Who.

So... what do you think?

Well I read it for its sheer weirdness. I'm not a Dr Who anything, but I loved the Bert and it was funny and sad at he same time which is very hard to do.

It read more like book Mary Poppins, who I disliked, even though there were direct references to aspects of the movie, and thus I found it very difficult to read. I can see that it has appeal, but at a personal level I strongly disliked it.
