Sanctuary 1x08: Edward

Though I think they're rather naive to think that Edward's family will be okay, since the Cabal is apparently interested in them. And, really, if I were a secret society, I wouldn't be so clumsy in drawing attention to myself. There are any number of more subtle approaches they could have taken. For example, simply hiring a fancy top-drawer lawyer to get them off would have been more effective and less obvious. Stupid people. Then again, a group that crashes a conference in Rome in full paramilitary gear and waving rifles around is hardly notable for either intelligence or subtlety. Wolfram and Hart would eat the Cabal for breakfast. The bad guys in "Nowhere Man" wouldn't bother eating the Cabal for breakfast, they'd just make the Cabal forget who they were.
I have to applaud Bigfoot for his wisdom in this ep. Not that I necessarily agree with his assertion that "every gift comes with a curse", but... it was a fitting piece of wisdom in the circumstances.
And TPTB certainly weren't going to let go the opportunity to have a werewolf on staff. Though in a way I'm annoyed, because I liked Henry as he was, and I fear that TPTB feel that nobody is worth paying attention to unless they can kill things with their bare hands.
