Sanctuary 1x06: Nubbins

kerravonsenYes, I am watching Sanctuary on Christmas Day. The family is getting together this afternoon and evening. I might as well do something mindless, seeing as I'm sick and not very awake.
This episode should have been titled "Gremlins".
Though one didn't need to feed them after midnight for them to be trouble.
As soon as I saw the cute things in their cage on the ship, I thought "Why haven't they been eaten?"
It's rather frustrating when these supposedly intelligent people don't ask the obvious questions. Or don't ask them soon enough. As soon as the Nubbins displayed that incredible reproductive rate, they should have asked what keeps the population down - not waited until they were overrun before they asked that question.
I think the implication was that Henry was allergic to the Nubbins' pheromones because he was gay. Hmmmm.
