Summary: Petunia Dursley is cleaning the attic and finds a previously unknown copy of Lily's will. Ecstatic at her discovery, she promptly abandons her burdensome nephew, along with Lily's will, on the doorstep of her childhood neighbour (aka, Severus Snape).
I like the characterisation of both Snape and Harry in this. Snape is angry and prejudiced and demanding, but he never considers refusing what he sees as his responsibility. Harry is angry and sullen and distrustful and stoic, but once they've cleared the air, he's willing to try. Not that they get on perfectly, and not that Snape is one whit less snarky; he wouldn't be Snape if he wasn't snarky!
So... what do you think?
