I like reconciliation stories. This is a Snape-Harry reconciliation story where Snape stays in character and neither one of them is soppy, thank goodness. Snape is Snape-ish and snappy and sarcastic and angry and bitter and inarticulate. Harry is cut adrift by his depression over Sirius's death, until he is shocked out of his apathy by something he discovers. Both of them find that actions speak louder than words.
