And in other news, I went to the physio last night, and he gave me various instructions (heat pad, exersizes, rest) but though I am banned from lifting things, it's okay to type (so long as I don't overdo it) so I'm feeling less stir-crazy now.
And my copy of Reflex arrived from Amazon yesterday.
And my replacement credit card also arrived yesterday. Don't have my PIN yet, but I can at least use it for credit-card things even if I can't ATM or EFTPOS with it yet.
And I used my Medibank Private card for the first time (at the physio) Gee that makes things so much easier. (I didn't have a card before, so I basically ignored my private health insurance stuff except for hospital things). But all I had to do was give them the card and they wiped it and, like, instant discount! (Well, basically it means the health insurance payout was registered with them, and I just had to pay the balance).
Ah, we have (one of) the best health-care systems in the world.

Date: 2004-12-23 08:51 pm (UTC)The sequel to "Jumper" by Stephen Gould. Just finished it yesterday. Chapters were alternatively from the PoV of Our Hero and Our Heroine -- I didn't like the Our Hero chapters mostly because the Bad Guys were torturing him in a very humiliating way. But I liked Our Heroine.
