I have (temporarily?) set myself a new default icon. I'm afraid Cally had to go in order to fit the star in. It isn't quite what I'd intended, but there wasn't room otherwise.
There's a star in the East on Christmas morn,
Rise up shepherd and follow
It'll lead to the place the Saviour's born
Rise up shepherd and follow

Date: 2004-12-13 12:58 am (UTC)I wanted the star to be like a star-of-Bethlehem star, but it was quicker to use one of gimp's built-in effect filters to make the star. And, as you say, "pretty!".

I hadn't really thought about that. One could take it as sort of symbolic, couldnt' one?
Except that if there was a comet/nova/unusual-celestial-phenomenon, then Avon would typically be curious about it, even if he would consider an angelic choir to be a hallucination.
