I have just uploaded an alpha version of my new website generator, Posy, to CPAN, which means it will be available tomorrow. I have been working on this for a few weeks, rather obsessively. It is inspired by blosxom and has a similar design philosophy, but it is more oriented to website generation than blogging. I had worked quite a bit on blosxom plugins to make it do what I wanted, but I realized that that last ten percent was unattainable, so I decided to design my own one from scratch, taking some nice ideas from various places, such as the lovely plugin setup from Module::Starter, and half the idea of action lists from Blosxom3, and this and that...

It is still alpha because it still isn't good enough for me to change my website over to using it yet. It needs more plugins. And it isn't good enough for anyone else to use it out of the box, because it needs more documentation.

Not that I expect any of you to want to use it yourselves. But it is one of the things I've been up to...

It's good to see you haven't been wasting your time on frivolities. :) I spent the day playing a computer game.

It was incredibly fun. Mind you, it was absolutely the wrong time to take a day off to play, but I find that's when I need it most.
