Sooo Tempted

I just stumbled across http://ecoyarns.com.au/
They have some beautiful delicious exotic yarns. Of course, it's not like I'm going to buy Muga silk yarn at $66 a skein, but not all of them are that expensive...
See the natural, very natural, pretty, so pretty, and have a llama!
And look, they have a steel/silk blend! How awesome is that? It's calling out for jewellery making.
And just the thought of naturally green cotton (I mean, literally green! No dyes!) makes me smile.

Llama or alpaca yarn goes without saying :-), but the place where I can get it around here is kinda pricey.

Date: 2011-09-13 11:18 pm (UTC)I have bought myself some bamboo yarn from Lincraft (70% bamboo, 30% cotton) to play with (one of my failed soap saver experiments was using it) and it is soooo soft, softer than cotton, even.

I have a cape made from alpaca which I bought in the US from a store which had sourced it from Peru. It is so lovely and soft and warm. The only thing better is Possum Wool from New Zealand.

Maybe you could find a cheaper source online. Of course I wouldn't recommend the above site for you, since they would be posting from Australia, but maybe there's something similar elsewhere.
