Gacked from a couple of you.

a. Choose 15 people from your friends list at random.
b. Write something about/to each of them.
c. Don't tell anyone who the statements are about. Good or bad. No matter how they beg!
d. But please do try to guess. That's what makes this fun!

Since there are 17 in the list of mutual Friends, and one of them is the same person twice, I decided to do everyone. (But I have mixed up the order, never fear)

  1. You make me think of your favourite character.
  2. Elf.
  3. Biographer of a thief.
  4. I didn't realize who you were on LJ until someone told me.
  5. Crossovers. Geek.
  6. Beginnings.
  7. Beaurocracy and foodstuffs, ah, the misfortune!
  8. Good taste in icons and encouragement.
  9. Your prose is like diamonds.
  10. You're blunt and to the point and don't suffer fools -- and have a hobby I knew nothing about.
  11. We may have different interests and world-views, but you stood by me when I needed friends and I will never forget it.
  12. Our first meeting was ironicly fannish, and blossomed so much since then.
  13. Our meeting was also ironicly fannish. And it isn't the size, it's the energy.
  14. Our meeting was a very squee-ish occassion.
  15. Who is that masked man? You know.
  16. You often say what I'm thinking.

ETA: I have changed #4. Take note.

6?

If that's wrong, I give up.

Vila-ness! I love him despite his profession, to his amazement; he thought it was all he was valued for.

I suspect #9 as a possibility, since most of what I write is as transparent as it is homogeneous, but #10 is probably the better bet.

I admit I'm a tad bewildered. There are several I can't rule out entirely, and none that jumps out and says "me!" though I can identify several other people. I shall just have to wait and let people eliminate themselves.

On fifth or sixth thought, I believe I'm number 7. Though I am not a number, I'm a free radical.

Hmm... (tucks pencil behind ear) ...by the process of elimination, I must be either 1,2,4,6,7,8,9,11,12, or 16.

Hm.

1. I doubt I remind you of Methos. :)
2. Not me.
4. Possibly? I didn't know who you were on LJ until I started wondering who this person was who was posting comments that made so much sense to [livejournal.com profile] synaethete7's blog, and I followed links until I discovered, to my great surprise and delight, (because I'd briefly interacted with you before in a completely unrelated way) who you are.
(5.) [livejournal.com profile] jcobleigh suggested I was this one, because of our aborted attempt at co-authoring a crossover, but I thought, "Nah..." :)
6. Maybe? Most likely? Due to my having just gotten married?
7. Nope
8. This has got to be [livejournal.com profile] synaesthete7 :)
9. I wish, but I doubt it. :)
11. Nope
12. Our first meeting was fannish, but not particularly ironically so, so no.
16. No...I doubt it.

So: my guess is either 4 or 6. Am I anywhere close?

This is a great meme, guaranteed to spark a lot of conversation. Everyone wants to know what other people think of them. :)

Okay, so 3, 5, 10, 13, 14, 15 are taken (what a lame effort guys) so this leaves:

1. Kerr Avon? That's a possibility... More like the one I'd like it to be though...
2. Nope.
4. This can't be right. You befriended me almost immediately after I arrived on LJ. ([livejournal.com profile] watervole would be my guess here...)
(5. I thought you were the expert on crossovers.)
6. Nope.
8. This would be [livejournal.com profile] synaesthete7. My taste in icons (and encoragement) is notoriously bad.
9. My prose is more like coal.
11. Actually, we have pretty similar interests...
12. I wouldn't describe our first meeting as fannish, although there was a lot of talk about Blake's 7.
16. Nope.

7 is the intriguing one. I used to work for the government for some years but left about 6 years back. As a result, I can spell "Bureaucracy" :) Getting retrenched meant payouts and pay rises.

My guess is 7.
