Deep Space Disks
Oct. 30th, 2003 02:57 pmYeah, yeah, this is really the old desert-island disks thing, only I thought I'd update it for SF fans...
If you were about to be put on a deep-space sleeper colony ship, with massive weight restrictions, and you could only pack 5 music CDs and 5 DVDs for you to listen/view for the rest of your life (after you land), what would you pick?
CDs:
- Book of Kells by Iona
- Beethoven's Ninth Symphony
- The Lord's Supper by John Michael Talbot
- Time by ELO
- The Roar of Love by 2nd Chapter of Acts
DVDs:
(this a little harder, since I can't remember what's on DVD and what isnt)
- The Matrix
- The Fellowship of the Ring (I would have put the extended version, but that wouldn't count as one disk)
- The Wizard of Oz
- Pride and Predjudice (the BBC production, I think it's a 2-disk set)
