Where the hand of man has never set foot
Oct. 24th, 2004 10:02 pmToe is still throb-throb-throbbing away. But I watched "Emancipation", "The Broca Divide" and "The First Commandment" from the first season of Stargate. It's amazing seeing these old episodes and noticing not only the seeds of Sam/Jack, but also how well Sam and Daniel got on, talking on the same wavelength. And also how "tough" Sam was supposed to be.

In other words, her toughness seems to be in proportion to her defensiveness, and when she feels accepted and respected, she feels less need to prove that she's "one of the boys".
