Sarah Jane Adventures, Season 4 (part 2)
Dec. 28th, 2010 10:51 pmAnother Sarah-Jane Adventure, I watched while beading, which probably means I wasn't giving it my full, undivided attention.
The Empty Planet
The first half was nicely creepy and mysterious.
It was an interesting change to have an episode which focused on Clyde and Rani.
Yeah, they weren't as brilliant as others might have been, but they did eventually figure out why they hadn't been taken, so that was good.
Nice pun on "sun and air" with "son and heir". Mind you, we have, again, a combination of vastly superior technology with complete lack of common sense. Why send robots on a mission this critical anyway? Ah well.
Gavin's characterisation was all over the place, and the actor was a bit flat. Oh well.
We got the obligatory nice ending that a show aimed at kiddies gives.
