So, LJ has done annoying things again. I am pondering whether to disable comments on LJ. I have Dreamwidth invite codes! Anyone want them?

Also, WorldCon starts today. So I will be there, and not here. I may or may not connect to the internet while I'm there, so you may or may not hear from me over the next week.

I've definitely stopped regretting my choice to leave LJ at the beginning of this year.

I have permanent accounts in both places, so I'm going to continue to crosspost in both places. But I have a few friends on LJ who swear they will never get an account on DW, and I don't want to cut them off. So, I'm ambivalent.

I was lucky; the vast majority of my friends have moved to DW. And I never had a permanent account.

Oh, Worldcon! I hope you have a marvelous time - it's been ages since I attendedone, and I wish I could be there. I hope someday to attend another one!

... as for the LJ cross-posting stuff, I suppose I'll put out a note that says, please, folks, don't cross post comments that have been made on any of my private or f'locked posts. I've been thinking about putting a header post up, and that might be the place to put this, too.
