Culinary Lavender

I have just eaten the piece of chocolate which came in my Lavender Essentials showbag. And, whether it was because "Sue's Chocolates" actually put lavender flavouring in it, or whether it just soaked up the ambient lavender essences in the showbag (*), it did taste lavendery. Rather peculiar, it was.

(*) I'd assumed the latter until I looked more carefully on the label of the chocolate and noticed the words "Culinary Lavender" in red in one corner, which rather implies the former.

Lavender has long been used with chocolate. I'm rather partial to rose petal chocolates myself.
