Further Thoughts on The Eleventh Hour

I was just looking at screencaps of the episode, and I noticed a few things.

1. Amy is very good at going bug-eyed. Almost as good as the 4th Doctor.
2. The brand of Jeff's laptop appears to be "MYTH" (only the 'Y' is a trident). Is that a well-known UK brand, or did the props department do that on purpose?
3. Matt Smith has a rather weird-looking face. Mind you, I noticed that before, but it's more noticeable in stills, when he's not in profile.
4. It was a lot clearer in hindsight that Amy was a kiss-o-gram; since when do policewomen wear miniskirts?

I've never heard of it, though that's not conclusive. The best-known PC brands in the UK are those of the big multi-nationals, such as Dell, HP and the like.

That was pretty much what I said when she first appeared! I thought it was gratuitous sexy costume fail, and was delighted that there was a reason for it--and that she handcuffed him to keep him there so he couldn't run off again. L-) I think the only thing that didn't work for me was the Tigger bit going on too long. Greg and I keep telling each other how good it was and how great Eleven and Amy will be. :-D

The Myth would be a made-up brand; the BBC has (unlike the US networks with all their Apples) a policy that brand names aren't shown. The Blackberry had its brand removed IIRC.

And I still haven't made my Eleven icon!

Yeah, they scrubbed the brands of David Tennant's Converse trainers, too. (But left the Punky Fish logo on Rose's clothes.)

Agreed, it went on too long. How many things was it? Apple, yoghurt, bacon, baked beans, bread-and-butter, and then custard-and-fish-sticks. Three hated items would have been enough.
