I never read this one, but more because of the author's consistently poor netiquette when posting to my stargate_xing comm than any other reason. I occasionally wondered if I should get over myself and trawl back to read it; but it looks like my instinctual "no" reaction was the right one.

I vaguely recall seeing the story being posted on LJ somewhere, but I don't think I'm subscribed to your stargate_xing comm. Possibly they cross-posted it to multiple places.

No, it was more that in thirty chapters of posting, the author only bothered to use the comm recommended header (specifically, including the crossover and rating in the actual LJ post) seven times, and never used the tag system; I had to keep going back and tagging it myself.

I always check a comm's info page before posting to it, every time, and it really bothers me when people don't. Not enough to ban for it, but it still grates.
