Is it okay to start posting fic reviews again?

What? Yeah. I wasn't complaining, just commenting. ;)

Did people complain that they were being swamped by them?

What might be a nice idea -- although you might find it to be more work or just plain not like it -- is to do one post per batch of reviews. Maybe one post per fandom, with however many you have for that fandom. They tend to be pretty short, so I think that would work.

(And if that's not what you meant, then, um, just ignore me. :))

I'm not caught up yet, but my fic backlog goes back a very long way. Post if you want, and I'll read the stories eventually.

Exactly this.

I've started gathering fic into batches for later reading; I may not always comment on your reviews right away, but hopefully if I've found a fic through your reviews, I'll remember to come back when I read it (or I may poke through your fic review tag on a regular basis when I have free time, which I do for friends who rec a lot, anyway).

I'd be fine if you started posting them again (esp. till your backlog is cleared)--as long as it's okay if you don't see comments from me right away.

One thing I've found useful, now I have a phone with unlimited internet access, is to make a private LJ post with a list of links to unread fics, bookmark that post on my phone, then work my way through the list at times when I have no internet access (or no access on which I'd want to be caught reading fic) and nothing else to occupy myself with for ten minutes to an hour.
