I liked it, but it feels a bit contrived. Especially the 'no snivelling' bit. I couldn't suspend my disbelief for long enough.

I wasn't keen on the set up to this one, and found it hard to suspend my disbelef at no one noticing what had been going on prior to HIgwarts, but I quite liked the resolution.
