pre-Torchwood thoughts

I haven't seen Torchwood yet, but I'm a bit trepidatious, seeing as many on my flist are expressing rage and ranting. Thank you, oh flist, for being good with spoiler cuts. I've still picked up some spoilers I've been unable to avoid, so I think I'll write them down here, and my guesses based on same, as to what is going to happen.
What people have said:
- complaints about Gwen being pregnant
- "cover photo" which has Jack, Gwen and Ianto, and silhouettes that look like Greys (y'know, those grey, huge-headed, large-eyed aliens which, among other things, were featured in the X-Files)
- story-summary (which I tried not to read, but couldn't avoid a few phrases) which mentions people in the 60's making a bargain with aliens
- a story-summary on Teaspoon which said that it was set "After Alex killed everyone"; I'm not sure if that was a spoiler or an AU.
- someone saying that this was the last Torchwood she would ever see; not sure if they meant that no more Torchwood is being made, or that they were so disgusted that they weren't ever going to watch Torchwood again.
- something happened in the fourth episode that got a lot of people in a tizzy.
My deductions:
- Gwen becomes pregnant with an alien baby again.
- Everyone dies (of course, Jack doesn't stay dead, but still, everyone dies). The first death is probably in the fourth episode.
- The storyline is ripped off from the X-Files, with alien invasion by stealth, impregnating human women, human-alien hybrids, and the aliens are Greys.

I'm listening to the radio plays first, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to fit in tonight.
