Yep, I'm churning through them.
I'm kind of surprised I'm playing "spot the actor" with this again; I usually tend to do that more with British or Canadian shows. But this time it was "Eeeeee!" when I saw Adam Baldwin, and I kept on wondering if one of the actresses was the same person who'd played Darla in Buffy (I've now checked with IMDB, and the answer is "yes").

When Kate pointed out that the aluminium D-link would be lighter than the steel one, and that the guy had to have known that, I was sort of kicking myself, because, yes, it was in front of us all the time, from the moment we were told that the D-link was fake and made of aluminium. Aluminium is a really light metal.

All the "need to know" stuff at the start was kind of amusing.

I think this is also the episode which a guy at work was referring to when he said that the computing stuff in the series was crap: "like they'd taken a bunch of computer jargon and strung it together without knowing what it meant" and that there was a sequence where "two people were typing at the same keyboard to speed up the hacking". Because both of those did happen in this episode. But I kind of forgave them for that, because it was actually a Character Moment, where Abby and McGee made up, and it was sweet, even though it was nonsense.

Hee. Yay, you've met McGee! He's actually one of my favorite characters on the show. And he and Abby are great together.
