Iconage!

Whee! I have made myself another animated icon! It's a pity the size is limited, because I would have liked to blend it, but I guess you can put up with a jerky image-change. One thing that frustrates me is people who make animated icons, and have them run at such a fast pace that one can't read the captions. Another frustration is icons where the caption is so faint and in such small letters that you can't read it either. So I am trying to avoid both those problems here. What 'cha think?

Well, I've changed it now so that it's all green, because that makes the Doctor and "the guy with the purple background" look nicer, I think. The latter is, of course, Avon, the Uber-Geek.

The long-haired guy is Blair Sandburg, who is there because he's an anthro-geek, not a techno-geek, but still in the category of being able to cause some people's eyes to glaze over when he's talking about his specialty.

Well, that's kind of it's purpose, because I intend to put it on geeky posts, which nobody really wants to read anyway. So people can be entertained while they ignore the post.

Yep, I gave particular consideration to whom I would put on each word. Avon was obviously "Geek", and Spock was "inner", and Blair
(the long-haired guy) was definitely "out", because he's one of those engergizer-bunny types, as well as other things in his background that make it a fitting word. He's from "The Sentinel" btw, and is an anthropologist, thus a geek of the Daniel Jackson type.

for visibility, you've done the right thing in outlining the letters in an opposing colour. It's a simply thing that a lot of people don't think to do... Also, I guess, finding a font that looks good when small is good...
