We saw on the news that some of Victoria was having blackouts... hell, we got the 43 but at least (since Sydney isn't as bad) we have a good chance of keeping the a/c going (and as it's such dry heat, the a/c is working better this year).

I wish we could exchange some heat with you. It's not exactly freezing here around 5 degrees but we have 100% humidity which is exhibiting itself as something that is more than a mist but not quite a rainstorm. I think you would find it quite refreshing and I would love to be able to turn the central heating off with out suffering from hypothermia.

Our news speak about extremely hot weather in Astralia, about the fear of fires and other problems. Is it possible to go to work, to school, and what about the animals and plants? I do love warm weather but this is horrible.Take care!
