Sewed on three more pieces but I'm not sure how to join the next bits. I also looked again at the pattern, and I'm insane, it's so big, it will take forever to sew enough for it. Arrgh!
It's like my embroidery. The act of sewing itself is part of the objective. Sit down, listen to Under Milk Wood and allow yourself to relax while sewing.
The big quilts are the most worth making, though! No one makes the kind that cover the whole bed and go all the way to the ground, anymore, and it's hard to even find one to buy. *pouts*
People keep on assuming that as soon as I say "patchwork", I am saying "patchwork quilt", as if quilts are the only thing that can be made with patchwork. Sorry I jumped on you, but it's getting rather annoying.
What a task! I look forward to seeing the result - I am sure it will be perfect and I will envy you. I am absolutely unable to sew something bigger than two pieces of cloth together - in a dire need! :-):-)
