kerravonsen: Kerr Avon, frowning: Character is PLOT (character-is-plot)

I'm pondering about what bunnies to submit for the finish-a-thon. There are three I'm certain I want to do, and three more that I would like to do, but they aren't quite so compelling.

The three I'm certain about are:
1) Sequel to "Doesn't Look Like A Hell Dimension" (see http://www.katspace.org/Fiction-Stories-KathrynAndersen/DoesntLookLikeAHellDimension) in which Buffy and the Doctor have adventures and stuff.

2) "The Year That Was"; a sequel to "Complications" (see http://www.katspace.org/Fiction-Stories-KathrynAndersen/Complications) in which the Doctor and Martha go for that trip around the world.

3) That Doctor Who/Sapphire & Steel story that I never manage to get around to.

The ones I'm not so sure about are
4) Cally and the Doctor's first adventure
Not that I wouldn't enjoy getting back into the mode of these two characters, but I'm not there at the moment, and it would take some effort, not to mention that I have no idea as to what they would actually do for their first adventure.

5) A post-"Journey's End" Donna-fixit story.
There have been so many good and great fixit stories written, I'm not sure that I can say anything that hasn't already been said. I do have an idea -- I want to see Donna actually investigating her problem, rather than just being completely oblivious, because I like competent companions, but I don't know how to actually resolve the problem, though. But whatever I could do in this area would be an also-ran in comparison to what's already been done.

6) Sequel to The Choice by Jinxed Wood (yes, I have permission) in which Romana lives.
Again, this is one where I love the characters, but I don't know what happens.

It would probably be safest to stick to the first three, but I'm not sure!

If it was me, I'd put all five up and see how the vote goes. I'd like to read your take on PJE.

I'm certainly very intrigued by (5), remembering how much I liked your competent Rose in Necessity.

Thank you! My thought was "In the Tardis, she flew like the swallow; now she's trapped on Earth like the calf (though not, one hopes, bound for market)."

[PS The fancy stuff behind her was in the original BBC promotion pic, all I did was crop and add text.]

Oh, sorry! It's one of those songs I assume everyone knows, but maybe it's not so common in Australia. It's here. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donna_Donna)

PS There's an audio link to Joan Baez singing the English version at the bottom of that page.

Oh, I'm so happy you're thinking of writing a sequel to "It Doesn't Look Like a Hell Dimension"! I rec'd that to someone recently and she was like, "Tell me that's not all of it!!!!" Because it is such a brilliant beginning, but I'm dying for more.

(I committed Cordelia + Doctor last night for the Fest. I think I might have spawned a series in the process.)

For just a moment, not being very familiar with Buffy, I thought that you might have had the Doctor visiting the court of King Lear. :)

Ha, that'd be awesome - but actually it's not the Buffyverse Cordelia either. It's for the fest at [livejournal.com profile] bujold_fic, and Cordelia is a character from Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan Saga.

Actually, don't I know you from the Bujold fandom?

No that's not me, I'm afraid. Pity; you seem like nice person to know. :)

Hmm! I'm sure I know you from someplace . . . *checks your profile*

OMG. This is bizarre. We both know [livejournal.com profile] seekingerin - I went to uni with her! That is where I've "seen" you before!

All six sound like they could be interesting. I know that's not a great help in youre decision-making process.
