I had to make this icon, to cheer myself and others up about certain things that happened to certain characters in a certain TV series this weekend. So take heart, my friends, and write fanfic.

You know, that's how I started--to fix B7's ending and what they did to Vila by destroying his characters over the course of two seasons.

Actually, me too. My first fanfic idea ever, even before I knew that fanfic existed, was a B7 fixit. I'm glad I never actually wrote it, it was very Mary-Sue.

Oh, me too! I made up so many alternative endings, I was surprised when I watched the reruns that Vila wasn't hiding under a table at the end. ;-)

The particular thing that upset me so much was excellently done. Quite possibly explains why I cried.

As for the rest, consider that it was written by RTD, and draw your own conclusions.

Note that I consider RTD's track record on finales to be a bad one, as far as plots making sense, and he's lived down to his reputation again on this one.

Oh, ditto -- I'm just surprised and pleased that so many people seem to have positive things to say about it, considering he was involved. It's a bit of a change from last season's miasma of horrified frustration.

Eh, plot. As you say, plot is fixable.
