The ending of Bother 1 was just perfect. I can totally see Anya doing this. Heck, I can see myself doing this...

The story was inspired by one of the few times I babysat one of my nephews when he was a toddler. He did exactly that: lay down in the front hall, right across the doorway, and wouldn't stop wailing for his mother. One doesn't forget things like that... 8-P

Brightening is exceedingly sweet. The Eighth did have that sort of secret sunrise feel to him.

And as for Bothers 1 and 2, you've left me giggling like a maniac. "Me, king of the goblins!" Poor old Jareth.
