Yep, that's in the "I don't know the fandom" box. Well, two episodes don't really count. That's just enough to distinguish between Elizabeth Wier, Shepherd, Rodney, and the alien chick.

I'd actually love to see you tackle Elfquest, since Cutter&Skywise fics (as opposed to Cutter/Skywise fics, sigh) are impossible to find, and they are both characters that are right up your alley.

It just shows how much time I spend in SF bookshops, that I do recognise the name; I remember seeing some graphic novels with that in the title, with humaniods with extremely pointy ears, wearing fur and riding wolves. Never read any of them, though, and I expect they're all out of print by now.
