Christmas Wishlist Meme

The Christmas wishlist meme has come around again!

Step One

• Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
• If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
• Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

• Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
• If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
  • You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
  • There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My wishes:
1. Big Finish audios. Or even just go and buy a Big Finish audio for yourself.
2. The full set of Girl Genius.
3. Good acapella music. I don't even know what to ask for. I have a couple of "Sweet Honey in the Rock" albums, and a couple of "Manhatten Transfer" and "The Idea of North" albums...
4. Christopher Eccleston's autograph. 8-)
5. Someone to persuade Christopher Eccleston to do some Big Finish audios. 8-)
6. Stories based on my orphan plot bunnies from a while back; see here (1), here (2), here (3) and here (4). Consider them to be challenges.
7. A story written Just For Me. Especially if it's Avon/Cally. Or 9th-Doctor. Or based on my digital art. See this post.
8. Fan-vids (especially friendshippy ones) for my fandoms.
9. For Certain People to finish their WIPs.
10. I wish I could meet those of you I haven't met. For some of you, this would actually be quite feasible.

I really, really wish more of my fave fandoms overlapped with yours. I just don't know enough about most of them, or can't get hold of the canon. (Though I second your #11 plot bunny. That would be an awesome fic). I'm going to have to settle for being a Certain Person, I suppose-- though it may be after Christmas before I have time to post!

LOL, I just remembered why I haven't written any TS/Sliders even though it would so totally work: I haven't seen enough Sliders canon to know their voices.

However, kalquessa has them on DVD.

I may have to borrow and watch. You and she are such bad influences! ;-)

I have to confess that I haven't seen a lot of Sliders, it just is a cool concept. Which explains why my plot bunny for that doesn't actually involve the Sliders characters much, just the concept.
