While I am not interested in its being erotic (although the character might be), and I do not especially care if the author is in the story or not as long as it's done well (which it can be), I now want to see Kirk as an ocelot.

I think even thinking of making Kirk an ocelot, as opposed to a fox, wolf, tiger, or similarly frequent appearer, brings in an orthogonal level of geekery. But I don't know enough about ocelots to decide whether that's in a good way or a bad way.

Hee; I've seen this before somewhere. I only go down as far as 'fanfic writer'. I think this is a good thing.

Kirk would be more solid that an ocelot. Maybe a wildebeest. :-P

*giggles* I was taking "romance novelist" in the grocery store Daneille Steel sense of the word. :)
