I know her as one of the writers on House, and have her LJ friended because she posts really cool thoughts on the writing process in television. Didn't realize she had written novels as well!

I first came across her, as Jane Emerson, through her wonderful SF novel City of Diamond which is a favourite of mine. I long for a sequel and to find out more about that universe but it seems she hasn't got time. :-(
