DEfinitely. I'm sadly resigned to the fact that my fannish experience is singularly... singular :) And no one is gonna write von-Smallhausen -through-the-Stargate, Catweazle-on-Moya or Stockinger-joins-Magnificent-7 ... not even me :)

OTOH, imagining someone doing it still makes me happy.

Speaking of crossover fandoms: I watched one of my Who DVDs today: Genesis of the Daleks. Halfway through the second part I got distracted from the story by a very familiar face. Military chap, slight german accent. And then suddenly I got it: it was lieutenant Grüber! A very young and already extremely endearing one at that. Oh dear. Too bad he got killed somewhere around part five.

Totally distracting, isn't it? I do remember him being there, and giggling helplessly at the wrong moment...
