IKEA 2, Kathryn 1
Sep. 8th, 2007 01:19 pmI have just managed to put the top on the bottom and the bottom on the top of my new IKEA chest of drawers. And, no, I'm not taking it apart to do it again, because I've managed to strip the heads of a few of the fasteners. (Some were wonderfully easy to turn, some weren't.)
So my chest of drawers is going to have holes on the top, and no legs on the bottom. It could be worse -- I could have put the legs on not realizing it and then found I was trying to put the drawers in upside-down. That would have been a disaster. This, this is merely a mishap. I can still have a functional chest of drawers without legs on it.
(sigh)
(Up to step 11 out of 34)
ETA: 16:00 -- Finished! I think I better have lunch.
